Ceramic swallow - Turquoise

Turquoise ceramic swallow to put on a piece of furniture thanks to its flat bottom or to hang on the wall thanks to its ventral hole. This swallow has the particularity to show a very detailed plumage.

Made in a small ceramics workshop near Caldas da Rainha, it benefits from a very nice handcrafted quality. The ceramic is soft and smooth, the details of the plumage are very well represented and the colors, perfectly applied, are bright.

The swallow (Andorinha) is today an icon of the national folklore and an object present in all Portuguese homes. It is used both outside on a facade and inside on a wall.
