This large bowl is entirely handcrafted in Marinha Grande, the cradle of Portuguese glassmaking. It is created through the fusion of coloured glass plates, carefully worked at high temperature.

Its wide, open shape welcomes salads, fruits or shared dishes. Yet even empty, placed at the centre of a table or sideboard, it creates a striking presence.

Each piece is unique, born from the creative vision of Sílvia, a young Portuguese designer, and the craftsmanship of Rui, her husband and master glassmaker.

This glass piece is designed by Sílvia, a young Portuguese designer, and crafted by Rui, her husband, in their workshop in Marinha Grande, the historic centre of Portuguese glassmaking. This family-run workshop, founded in 1997, combines the traditional expertise of Marinha Grande with the innovative "fusing" technique.
