This piece comes from a small workshop located in the Estremadura region, in central-west Portugal. Its design is typical of Caldas da Rainha ceramics, made famous by the renowned artist Bordallo Pinheiro.

The moulds used in this workshop have been passed down through generations, and the current owner still works with those inherited from his grandfather. Each piece is meticulously handmade, and production remains very limited.
